The second book in this anthology, "Married in Missouri," I just loved. All in all, "Rocky Mountain Wedding" was a nice, quick, casual read- interesting and without much too it.

It ended with a "two years later" epilogue that tied up the loose ends just a bit too nicely. The emotions felt a bit rushed at times, not moving naturally or gradually but quickly in order to fit into the story's length. I rooted for the heroine and hurt with her in the climax. I found it enjoyable, though without much depth.

Perhaps reading the other two first would have coloured the way I read the story, but as it was, I read it without having read the previous two in the series. I picked up "Mail Order Marriages" not realizing that the first story, "Rocky Mountain Wedding," by Jillian Hart, is the third in a trilogy about three brothers. But he's tough, stubborn and cynical-except in bed with her at night! How can Sophie turn her passionate nighttime lover into a daytime husband who isn't afraid to show he loves his mail-order bride? Newly trained midwife Sophie Grant had hoped marrying respectable John Colburne would be easy as pie. He's strong as a bull, gentle as a lamb, and Elizabeth's heart soon begins to melt…. He's not looking for love, but he expects his wife to act like one-in every sense of the word! Elizabeth has always felt tall and awkward, but Lucas towers over her. Lucas Harrison needs a mother for his sons. But what Melody doesn't expect is to fall for the rugged, closed-off lawman who swears he doesn't believe in love! Gabe Brooks, handsome older brother to the man she was supposed to marry, helps her settle in.
